Assembly Instructions
A few simple guidelines:
- The entire dragon has to be human powered and supported. There can be no carts or wheels or any artificial support under any body section.
- Decoration or any modification should not hinder the mobility of the entire dragon.
- No fire, pyro, etc. in the body sections
- Participants are encouraged to have two people per ten foot section - and ideally a third person on the outside to assist if needed, trade places, act as your eyes on the outside, etc. while the dragon is moving.
- The building advice given here is not the only way to build your section of the dragon. Feel free to modify, as long as you can still connect to to the other sections. You are also welcome to build longer segments. If you have ideas, suggestions, pictures, etc., please send them to us at burningdragon@yahoogroups.com

Transport
After you have completed your section, look at it, scratch your head, and wonder how the heck you are going to get it to Burning Man. Then say some choice words, remove the tape and fold the hoops flat, along with the sheets.
- You may want to remove any battery operated Xmas lights so as to protect the bulbs
- Carefully cut/remove the tape from each joint.
- Pack the spine and stabilizers carefully.
- Pack your tape and fabric glue
At Burning Man
- Borrow fabric glue and tape because you can't find your own
- Re-assemble the dragon section on the playa
- Once you are done, you are likely to locate your own glue and tape. Please share with other dragon builders
- Check in with the Tribe camp for last minute updates. Location will be posted once camp locations are assigned by BMOrg.
- Don't forget record attempt - 2pm on Thursday at the Man
