AAARRGH! The recording were incredible. People added their own twists to the story, added characters, and basically burningman-ized Alice in Wonderland. And then my recoding device crapped out on me and destroyed it all. Arrrgh!
The project:
Here's an idea that came about at an AZ Burner party thanks to my dear friend Chromatest J. Pantsmaker - and it will take no extra bodies - other than whatever we need for the PIG
We were discussing the merits of iPods and audiobooks and I was explaining what an audiobook was to an uninitiated, when we started taking about setting up a mike and recording instrument and have people stop by and read parts of Alice in Wonderland - crossing out whatever they have read... and maybe even adding their own flava to the story.
Once we return, we will make the stories available for dowload off this page. We will need mirror sites so if anyone can offer some space, we'd greatly appreciate it. Drop me a note if you can share some bandwidth
