Solarator

Solarator dish and BRadUsing an old-skool satellite dish lined with highly reflective TCM we will concentrate the sun's rays and use the heat to cook food, boil away gray water, and compact plastic bottles for easy recycling.
The initial plan was to melt plastic into liquid form but whinin' Ho's in our camp (including our damn webmaster ;-) were concerned about toxic fumes and so we dialed down the death-ray to a heater and will set it up at our camp. There was an idea floated to place it on the playa as interactive public art but the need to baby sit the device helped make the decision to keep it within the camp site
